TEC Distributors typically have a "TD" number stamped on one of the mounting legs (i.e. TD-44U or TD-68U for OBD-1 B16, and . It's usually very light and most people can't spot the faint lettering, especially if it's covered in grease and dirt, but it's there. Hitachi distributors aren't numbered this way.

There are only 3 or 4 different distributor caps for OBD-1 and OBD-2 B- and D-series engines. Most late-model internal coil distributors take the 30102-PT2-026 cap. What cap did you try? What head and ECU are you using?

The head should have either a PR3 or a P72 stamp on it.

The distributor should be marked. Find the numbers stamped on it.

gsr distributor

if the dizzy wires colors are kinda pastel its obd1 which is 94-95ish
if the dizzy wires are vivid color its obd2 which is 96-01

yeah thats the obd1 gsr. parts from a 94-95 integra gsr should be the correct stuff

ls dizzy wouldn't bolt to your head.

this is a wild card but there was a 93 gsr, but it used a b16 casting head. so it could be completely different.

what it comes down to is if the top radiator hose goes to the front of the head its a 94-01 gsr head, so yours would be a 94-95 dizzy

if the hose goes to the head under the dizzy kinda area its a b16 head.. which could be a 93 gsr, or a 94 del sol vtec. these two heads are the same **** basically, but may use a different cap. idk

but those are the three options you have and you should be able to narrow it down from there
