Water Pump... 3 long bolts, 1 short
Changing the water pump on my d15b8... I didn't pay attention to the different length bolts! I thought they were all the same until today, when I started cleaning them.
Does anyone know which hole the short one goes into? Top left/right Bottom left/right?
Looked through my Haynes and it doesn't have any hints whatsoever.
Thanks!

I want to say it was the bottom left or top left. This is me just waking up so not 100% but its the one that the hole doesnt go all the way through, and its on the left.
Just to make sure also... my Haynes manual says 108lbs torque on the water pump bolts. That seems like a LOT! I'm worried about my poor corroded looking bolts. If a bolt snaps I will be beyond ill. Have bad experiences with bolts breaking, and that would be a TERRIBLE place for it to happen!!
Hole that doesn't go all the way through... gotcha. I believe that's the bottom left bolt. I'll have to make sure...
Thanks

Blue loctite, seat the pump with hondabond, put the bolts on make sure the hondbond smears out a little (lets you know the pump is seating). Stop and move to another bolt. When you do them all go over them again to make sure there down. No torquing.
