hey h-t! i have a 96 ek with a obd1 ls/vtec. i never had my iacv hooked up..no coolant lines or plug. well i decided to install it and now my car runs like crap. does anyone know if the iacv gets power at all times, or how often? i wanna meter out the wires to make sure i did it right, but i've gotta test it first. for all i kno, i could have a bad iacv. thanks for the help guys!

 

You first might try cleaning it, and also bleeding the cooling system of possible trapped air.

If the idle speed of the engine is just too low, try adjusting the idle speed using the screw on the throttle body.
