I was wondering if anyone has swapped the steering wheel from the newest si into there 4th gens? Pics and difficutly of doing it would be cool. Thanks

 

You mean the '06 and newer si, right? I doubt anyone has done this because it has a 2-stage airbag which wouldn't work in any prelude (as far as I know). It'd probably look pretty good though.

 

Yeah you'd definitely have to remove that airbag.

 

I'm assuming that's a big pain to do. That's a shame those steering wheels are really nice.

 

Maybe you could use it but maybe keep the airbag disconnected?

All 4th gens were equiped with airbags right? It's probably just as simple as removing the one that's already in the car right now. Possibly? Maybe?

That sux not having an airbag. wouldnt it suck if you got hit by someone and ended up paralyzed and the doctors told you that if you had an airbag youd be perfectly fine? Id be pissed lol. Thats where 4g gets screwed cause we cant swap any good looking steering wheel with an airbag into our cars
