quick help please
I know... ur gonna roll ur eyes when u read another "which one should i get" thread but i'm really confused about this one. I would like to buy a short throw shifter for my 95 sol but i dont know what the difference a single bend or a double bend would do. I have a Type R shift **** that came with the car. which one would suit me better. fyi, i found a B&M for $55 and a skunk2 for $108 at a legit site.
The big difference between a dual bend and single bend is the angle of the bar where you place the shift ****. The dual bend bars are more straight up, whereas the single bend bars will aim the shift **** toward you, like the stock shifter. It's all preference. I prefer the single bend for racing and quick shifting, but I like the feel and position of the dual bend better in general.
B&M and skunk2 are both good brands. I have a Buddy Club shifter... I like it, but a shifter's a shifter. Even the ebay ones are fine. There are rumors on honda-tech that ebay shifters break easily... No solid steel bar 1/2" in diameter is gonna break EASILY. If you don't care about brand equity, save your money and find a bar on ebay. If you do care, B&M, skunk2, and Buddy Club are the more popular shifters.

Thanks. I think I'm gonna stick with the single bend cuz i'm used to it. I used to have a mustang and it had a double bend and i wasnt too fond of it... no offence to those ppl who like it. Thanks though. I found the one i'm getting now i just need moeny
