My Luck Ups and downs!!
OK, Whats up guys, I had another account, but didnt use it for awhile so i had to make a new one. Anyway, So heres the story bout my REX,
Well i bought it from a friend stock body with a DOHC 1.6 ZC, so i put a body kit on it some rims and painted it orange, drove the car for a month and the motor blew up, i was pissed. So i ordered the same motor from Hmotorsonline.com, and they sent it to me after bout a month, then i started puttin it in had to get new axles, mounts, ten i got everything put together started it up and went for a spin, well it jumped timing so i towed it back home put the timing back right drove it again and bout afte 20 miles again jumped again,
So i thought it was the oil pump, so i pulled the motor out took the oil pan off, and the oil pump pickup had like 6 or 7 spoon fulls of gunk in it so i cleaned it out as best as i could almost spotless, put a new oil pump in it, new oil gasket. Sense it wasnt pumping oil to the top end, the camshafts and holders where ugly from not getin any oil, so i took the head from the other motor put new headgasket on cleaned everything oil pan head, just cleaned what i could, put it back in the car, and drove it for bout 2 weeks and 6 days and now i got a wrist pin knockin
i was bout ready to give up tired of spendin money, tried sellin it, had a women offe me 1700 with a motor probly ready to blow, unless fixed, i said no i couldnt ge rid of it. So my dad was talkin to his friend and im orderin GSR with trans and computer monday be here in 2 weeks, finally some good news, the best news im gettin it all for 1400$ Shipped and everything WHAT, after what ive been through its bout time.
So i was wonderin what i need to do:
Axles
Mounts
Wireing up
and anything else
Sense i had the DOHC ZC i was wonderin what all i need to change?
