Default OBDI B16 going into a 98 Civic EX

alright so ive been doing a ton of research just because i dont want to find any snags and get stuck in the middle of this swap. ive helped with a swap before but never obd1 into and 96-00 ex

KEEP IN MIND THAT EVERYTHING IN THE CAR IS STILL INTACT, INCLUDING THE BLOWN D16Y8

1. okay so let me start out with a/c
i have the b series a/c bracket, is that ALL i need in order to run a/c? or will i need to get some 99-00 si a/c lines?? and i can just run a 99-00 si belt for it right?

2. next question is about the exhaust
okay, from what ive heard/seen, there is something different about an ex and an si exhaust system. example, if you put a b16 in the ex, the header will go farther back than the input of the cat, making it hard/impossible to connect. any way to correct this? i dont want to take my car to an exhaust shop right after i do the swap, i want to be able to drive it. from what i see, the ex and si use the same exhaust, which leads me to believe the length in the cat is different. would the passwordjdm non-resonated test pipe work in this situation (since it's adjustable and all)?

3. next concern, engine harness
now the 96-00 engine harness is all one piece so id image it would be a PITA to take it all out and use the one that comes with the motor. plus ive read up that its really not that complicated to use the USDM harness on the JDM motor. are there any specific connectors on the obd2 harness that i will have to switch over to obd1. ive heard that the injectors that come in the jdm motors have different clips so instead of using jdm connectors on the harness, im just going to use usdm injectors, should be fine right? i also picked up the obd2 to obd1 distributor harness that password sells. so basically my question is, what plugs am i going to have to change out and/or extend.

I plan on getting the Motor, Transmission, ECU package off of hmotors (Item 30004) w/ hasport mounts

So far i've ordered the following items
Hasport b series tranny torque mount
Hasport rear engine mount
Hasport AC bracket
new OEM B series shift linkage
Energy shifter bushings
JHP 96-98 OBDII to OBDI ecu harness
PasswordJDM non-resonated test pipe

is there ANYTHING that i am missing (besides axles) that wouldnt come with the package from hmotors?

thanks for your help honda tech

if u say ur putting the b16 into the ex then u wont have to extend ne plugs...and if ur using an obd1 ecu then u wont need to use the sensor thats mounted on the the fuel rail, so that plug will be left empty, next is the obd1 motor will have the IAT sensor on the intake manifold its a white sensor just leave that one there it will just work as a plug now, and just use the one that goes on the intake its the same one...i dont know if you already have one but ull need a rear b series tranny bracket....also just switch ur tranny bracket onto the b series tranny theyre the same.. and as far as the a/c hoses u can still use ur stock ones...also the coolant hoses will need to have a bigger diameter but if you can get them to fit then cool if not just get civic si ones and use a different clamp to close them on the radiator side.....everything else should be plug and play...i almost forgot but theres a plug for a sensor located by the crank pulley u wont need that one either....
