Default Heat cycled tire?

I was looking at the Yokohama AO32R. They had one that was heat cycled that was about 30 bucks more. Does anyone know what heat cycling is? I have never heard of it.

Default Re: Heat cycled tire? (Jason)

I just got my A032R tires in yesterday. I chose not to get them heat cycled but rather do it myself with some canyon driving

To me, it isn't worth $60 because i will have time to heat cycle them and then let them sit for a few days after they are cycled. The only reason to heat cycle a tire is to prolong the life of it but from what i hear (no firsthand experience) the A032R's last a pretty long time as compared to other R compound tires.

just my .02
