Im looking for exhaust systems... and wondering if an ex exhaust will bolt up to an lx 1.7 non-vtec motor... any help welcome

.....NO you can do a full ex conversion tho

have to get the header cat then cat-back

i do have a lx header cat-delete for sale if you want it pm me

then you have to find a lx catback

 

naw dude youd have to weld an extension pipe on there or somethin. thats what i had to do. cost me like 90 bucks. or you could do what he said. but id weld it because you wouldnt hafta put the ex catalytic conv on there. and mine had it built into the headers so all youd hafta do is get new headers and youd be straight

 

ok tnx guys... i also found a full system on ebay for the lx motor... uhhh i forget the kind...i'll let you know what happens

 

could you just cut off the muffler from an lx and weld on any universal muffler like magna flow?

bolts on FTW makes life easy and sounds good

 

Yea i do want it sounding good... i plan on getting exhaust and intake.. then saving some money... and either do a k20 swap or get a vtec head....
