I need a clutch
So I have been told that the Competition Clutch is a good way to go. What I need to know is which one to get? I have a built motor and am looking for around 300whp. I was told to get Competition's stage 4, so it'll be a 6 puck clutch. But I think I also need a flywheel as well. Would yall mind checking this kit out and tell me what you think?? Thanks for the help - oh, another thing, will this clutch be to beafy to where it'll tear up my tranny?

honestly you should be good with a stage 2 or maybe 3. But I think 4 is over kill for all the power you have. If you had like 400 hp then maybe a 4. But it's your money and tranny!
Ok, here is goes.
The Stage 2+ clutches last for about 8k miles before they go to complete crap. Honestly, I would buy a a stage 1 clutch and replace it when it goes. it costs much less and probably will outlast the grip material on the stage 2,3,4, regardless of HP. If your going to be legit drag racing buy a 3,4. the stage 1 has plenty of grip force if you know what your doing (and you might, i don't know)
Just what I would do having experience with stage 1,2, as well as Tilton multi-disc clutches on ultra high horsepower drag cars.
