Default New Accord commer with question...

Hey all...i know lots about the b-series motors, but im kinda new to the f-series now. I have a 2dr accord with the f22a1 motor with an aem intake and dropped suspension for speed. This guys gotta sohc vtec accord motor out of the 94+ accord that he wants to get rid of for 100 bucks. You guys think the 20+hp and vtec would make a big difference in this car??? Please get back to me with you answers. Thanks.

If the H23 is crap then why does it make for much better turboing than does the H22. If I were to get one or the other I would definatly go for the H23 with the longest gear ratios I could get and turbo it and it would probably cost around the same as the H22

Dont bother to re-educate this clown. Let him retain his ignorance. He is the type that will be daunted by the revolution of low tech non vtec boosted engines.

Yes, be we are talking about an F22A1, which was not in a 93 or a 94. It was in the 90-91 DX and LX and had 125hp.

You guys were both wrong. The F22A1 stretched the entire lifespan of the 4G Accord. It made do with a measly 125hp motivating LX and DX Accords.

Oops, yes it did. What I meant to say is that the 92-93 DX and LX had the F22A4, which is 130hp. But I was still partially right in the F22A1 we are talking about is 125hp.

Edit: ****...****!m I'm wron again. The F22A4 was in the 92-93 EX and SE. Now I think I got it straight.
