i have a 1990 prelude and it sputters when its cold or hot under a load can someone please give me some advice on what is going on with my car

 

Lets start with the basics, nobody will be able to give you any accurate feedback unless you supply more information. We will try to help as much as possible but usually the more info you can give the better advice you will recieve. Anyway best place to start would be to list all the fixes (if any) that you have tried so far.
How long has it been since you did a full tuneup?
Have you done any modifications recently?
Sputters regardless of engine temp? (Does it as soon as you start driving or only after the engine heats up?)
Does it at low or high RPMs?
How long has it done this?
And what exactly do you mean by "under a load"?

Start with a basic tune up and go from there. Spark plugs, wires, distributor cap & rotor, air filter, fuel filter, oil change, etc...
