I need help asap this guy has this crx im supposed to go and see soon. I need to know if yall think its worth the $600 dollars? Is there anything i should look out for with this thing?Heres the ad for it-

about 10 miles on the motor i just put together awhile ago runs great sounds strong it needs maybe a coolant sensor cause everyonce awhile it will rev up and down the rest of the sensors i just replaced it could use a 89 teg ecu 5 speed i think mine is for a 1.8 in the wrong case kinda trew it together so it might run a little rich sometimes but i recomend a new body this one was hit and i got it off a friend for free and i didnt care about the body he had bondo all over it and scoops and **** i was goingt o rip it all off i just put the motor in the car plenty of go car parts i put new honda bearings and let a shop put it all together like a while ago i had it from my first rex but i sold the body for the money and kept the mtoor and just got it rebuilt head was shved mild port and polish all new gaskets and seals but like i said the body needs to be striped and shorwn away theres plenty of pople selling bodys for cheap you could get a fast good looking rex together for like $1000 poeple sell shells for cheap like 100-500$ all parts are there all interior optima yellow top its it isnt stolen very good seats no rips there like 300$ well got to go latr

if yall could tell me if this is a good deal or not i saw the motors on ebay for around $600 but is this something i should not even think about and is it as easy as he says it is to find the shells i havent found any in my area.

 

If youre going to swap it to another shell, sure, it doesnt sound like a bad deal.

If youre planning on driving it, no way. When the seller says get rid of the body, you know its definately screwed up.

 

Would i be better off just buying a motor and doing the swap bc if im scrapping the shell i'll need to take it out anyways? This ones got all this other stuff done though...

 

buy it take the good parts out of it, and scrap the shell. that way you can make some money back.
