-this was extremely dificult. brief guidline. need the railing system from integra + most the wiring and control switch.
-take all you components out and take the ingtegras railing out.
----- u cant just bolt it in. need tin snips and hax saw. scoot up the front of the railing to the front of the civic drip pan.cut slots into the corner so the railing will fit. drill holes where applicable and mount- (must angle the mount. the rear bolt about 3/4 a inch up to give it that needed anle. take of the railing that guide the sunshield and mount them underneath the railing system(since its been raised, it gets ride of the gap. bolt it down ect..
----must make custom brackets to hold the window to the pronges, i used aluminum.
---when remounting the entire assembly, place a few walshers inbetween the drip ban and roof for clearnce. seal up any holes and cute youve made
---wiring** must run new wires, you only need 2 since itegras sunroof is only bi directional. civic sunroof power wire not compatible with integras sunroof switch. Tap into igition key activated power, and use the black ground from whatever u like.
----total time for me 14 hours!! o yea enjoy it

Not bad dude! not bad at all!
And to awsner the "why" above... some people are tall and the seats are practicly on stilts in a stock car. a sunroof like that and a few other small mods to the interior and you'll have a very nice increse in headroom in a otherwise stock civic.
it'd alaso add a nice amound of headroom in the back of the car for when you gotta carry the gang along with ya for the ride
Now here's a question for you how well does it seal? and what did you do to get it to fit (besides the obvious swap)?

Just install lower seats (Del Sol, S2K). Save yourself 14 hours and lots of stress (and probably save money).

I wasn't attacking you, OP. I admire your effort and willingness to tackle a monstrous project. I was merely attacking the reasoning of why. I"m sure you did it because you wanted a sunroof. Not so you could have more headroom.
No offense, but turbo_b16_ex, isn't the person who said he installed the sunroof for headroom, "PowerUser" did. So you should probably scold him for the reasoning, not the OP :-p
Only halfway?
It looks like the glass is falling into the roof to me.
While I didn't think this would work out very well, I was really hoping to be proved wrong. Too bad it still looks bad imo.
Oh, and btw, the moonroof being in the car lowers clearance by about two inches. If I jump up in my car and bump my head right above where I sit, I don't hit the moonroof area. I hit the headliner next to the moonroof. So unless you lean, this shouldn't help head room much. Not that it would help anymore than the stock moonroof anyway.

Yes that's also very true
However I think the OP's idea is a great one. the added headroom is just a nice bonus
I just happen to be 6'5". legroom is great in the civic. infact I think it's among the best in a small cars on the road. I love almost everthing about my civic except the lack of headroom. so I tend to think about that small detail a bit much when it comes to this kinda topic
