whats up everyone I got a question. I got a ls vtec built by Ben @ garage kwai in arlington hieghts, il. He built my motor towards the end or closing of his shop. I got the motor and overlooked @ the work he did, and all i have to say is that he did a **** job. So I decicded to take the motor to Pro Function in Burr Ridge, IL. I gave them the motor and had them break it down check to see if the motor was built correct, but they want to charge me around 700$ in labor to break it down check the head and the block and check all the clearances, and put it back the correc t way. Does that sound about right? Or is that just crazy? Please help i am so afraid of all shops now and would like a little help so I dont get screwed again.
