im a little new and thank you for the warm invite.i would like to know whats the best oil&filter for a k20a oil replacement. i would also like to know what is the best tranny fluid. thank you.

Royal Purple claims to be the best. Everyone's got their own opinion on which oil go with. Just go synthetic oil and you'll be good. As for tranny fluid, I always went with Honda MTF.

doesnt really matter what filter you use ive always used motul fluids

 

i wouldnt recommend royal purple, ive seen some poor oil analysis from rp

but i always run into people who swear by it

i would recommend amsoil

but in the end its your preference just do some research

i use mobil 1 oil and mobil 1 filter. Costs me about 30-35 dollars every 5000 miles.

I used to use s2000 filters, but the price on them got raised from about 7 dollars to ~14 dollars. That's a bit much for me, so I went with the mobil 1 filter my last oil change which was about 10 dollars.

Does anyone know if the s2000 mobil 1 filter will fit on the k20z1?

o really? hope the s2k filter here stays the same price haha. when they first introduced it it was like 30$ but now its like a regular filter price.

 

i second the hamp filter....
