Default EK9 Civic Type R Shocks and Springs

I've got a 98 DX Hatch and was wondering how much of a difference putting the Civic Type R shocks and springs onto my car would be worth it.... and does anyone know if they will bolt right up? or do I need other parts to make it work?
let me know what you think... thanks

direct swap, it'll lower it a tad and be a little stiffer. Why not go with something new and aftermarket if you'll be spending the money and the installation?

i found a full set online for 150 + shipping and it just kind of made me interested i guess... i just didn't know if any of the specs were different. i've been trying to find a cheaper solution for coilovers (until i can save up enough to get the ones i really want).
the thing is, i just bought my hatch and am super anxious to do something to it. i'm still unsure of where to begin or what would be good to do.

it'll be $150 closer to what you really want or you can put in some security first. Just my suggestion. good luck on it

I just got a set of these and started putting them in my 97 4 door. I put the front in and it barely changed the ride height..maybe like a quarter to half inch. Keep in mind they were made for a car with the heavier b series motor in the front so that will drop the car also. But it does feel quite a bit better, the springs are stiffer and the car feels a lot less tipsy and solid in the turns. I am waiting on some new control arms for the back so I can put those in next. So far I like them a lot, honda made the type r stuff really nice. I'm guessing you saw them listed on h-motors. Thats where I got mine from
