Default oil catch breather or not???

i am wondering if i need to buy a oil catch system for my new build the motor is together getting ready to put it in but i was doing some searching on here about the endyn kit and others and some people say the endyn kit is real messy and fills up fast i don't really want to put bungs in my valve cover unless absolutely necessary this is a daily driven street car with drag racing at the trackon the weekends if anyone has any advice or experience with the kits that are out please feel free to inform me were you got it and how youlike them thanks here is my setup

sleeved gsr block 84mm benson sleeves
b16 rlz ported head milled 27 thou
supertech flat valves
manley all motor rods
cp 11.5:1 compression (final compression is like 12.4:1)
skunk pro 2 cams
performer x manifold
precision 68mm tb
ssr street sweeper header
ati damper
toda oil gear
i think that about wraps it up if i forgot anything important let me know thanks this site has been very helpful in my build

like larry Widmer says...

"These 2 Liter Engines can´t get enought ventilation..."

You should install a tank

I think some people installed their endyn tanks to low in the engine bay, so the oil can´t flow back into the oilpan and the tank fills up.
the drainage must be higher than the connection on the Block !!!

venting it would be good. i have the endyn kit setup on my car. works great, you just need to have it setup correctly for the drain back to work. it needs to be mounts high enough for the tube to drain back into the block.

vent it out underneath the car.

mine is set high in the bay, but instead of venting into the bay i ran a large rubber hose from the can top down the fire wall directly behind the steering rack. with the fans on it sucks crankcase gas into the cabin when in traffic...which i hate.

no major problem now, also i dont drain back. which has also solved condensation in the valve cover issue i was having.

you really don't want the condensation going back into your motor.

I'd think that if your return on the oil pan is below the oil's level it could force oil up your drain? you think that's possible?

nope, the line is pretty long. the only reason why i did this was because on H22's there are no rear block ports like the Bseries. so i had to weld the bung straight to my oil pan just for drainback

I have a turbo D with an endyn kit, but I welded two -10 fittings into my valve cover, over the baffling, this is key in preventing oil flow to the can. I plugged the drain back in the bottom of the can. The brass fittings and line supplied with the endyn I feel is to small. I would suggest gettin a moroso can and -10 or -12 fittings and lines.

there is no condensation when it drains right back in like 30seconds

had a guy with a 2.0vtec spewing oil out of the vc, op, hg, everywhere! put a catchcan on it with both ports out the back of the block to a vented can, cleaned up all the leaks and they never came back

I'm running a catch can and i like it. Catches a bit of oil once in a while, but usually when im stepping on it through the corners a lot.

combustion by-products get in the can, doesn't matter how fast it drains back.
