EG sunroof on EK
The only thing I like about a EG is the sun roof.. How the glass window can go all the way back over the roof.. Unlike the EK sun roof, the window retracks in the roof... someone told me that you can use the motor and tracks from an EG for a EK.. Is this true?? Has it been done b4? Any pics??
Someone in another thread is trying to make the Integra tracks for on a 6th gen coupe. I think it's a bad idea (risk of damage since the parts aren't made for the same chassis). So far it looks pretty bad, but he says he's going to make it fit.
As a side note, I've heard of 5th gens losing their moonroof glass driving down the road. I've never heard the same of any 6th gen.

Lawl.
Go look up a REAL EK4. They had them.
Yes, EKs had factory moonroofs. No, we never got an EK chassis here.
No, the EJ6 hatch in the US did not have factory moonroofs. Yes, all '96-'00 hatches sodl in the US are EJ6s.
Yes, the OP is talking about a US 6th gen probably, and not an overseas hatch/sedan model.
He's probably also not asking if a USDM '92-'95 sedan moonroof (only) will fit in his car. You know... seeing as coupes and hatches here weren't EGs either.

Do you really think the entire world population of Civics are just like the ones here?
Look here. All Jordan Civics are EK4s.

None of the cars in this thread have it done. All the cars in this thread have stock moonroofs. It was to prove that EK chassis cars really did have moonroofs (the cars you were asking about weren't EKs, they were EJs).
Someone made a thread within the past three days or so asking the same thing. He is currently trying to make it work. I don't think it's worth it though.

So he cut his entire roof out and welded in a 5th gen roof? Or do you mean the previous owner had an "optional" moonroof installed by the dealer, which would make it aftermarket?
Oh, and I can't find that user name.
Oh, and here's the other guy who installed Integra parts on his 6th gen.
