he looks at my motor with i have a b18b with a gsr tranny
i told em what are u looking for is a stock motors so wahst the problem weel he [freak]ing belive me ..... now thats not the problem the ******* dint wanna let me go so he saw that i had a fuel pressure regulator n fpr gauge
so he send me to referree for that ****
and he put on the paper that i had been given a tickect before n told me i coulnt operate my car welll I NEVER HAD GOTTEN A REFERRE TZICKET
so now i trying to figure out what to do ...

what do i have to do to bar my motor ...
i hurd erase all engine codes ...
make the engine bay look as stock as psoible
need my cattalic back in there
stock muffler

this is the thing i worry about i have a b18b it came out a integra with 50k on it year 00 is it jdm or usdm they told me is jdm but from what i know jdm motors have no VIN numbers help please i cant drive my dam car

 

Go to a ref and they should let you know what all needs to be done.

Bingo. You will be fine. Just go and the first time he will tell you all the crap you need to do. The gauge and regulator have to go unless the regulator is an AEM. Other then that, hook up the emissions equipment, run the correct year ECU for your car and you should pass with no problems. The ref is not that big of a deal.

 

Haha, I got a REF ticket as well, They gave it to me for a modded intake even though it was a B16a Motor in a eh2 (not barred), He said I had to take my car home, park it and couldn't bring it out until the ticket was cleared. I said [freak] that, and kept taking my car out. I got pulled over a few weeks later by a Riverside County SHERRIF and he didn't do anything. I don't think they'll even know your car has the ticket or that it was a condition you couldn't drive it on record (especially in Riverside County). That happened over a 2 years ago, I still haven't paid the ticket and NO WARRANTS. [freak] THE STATE.

 

i agree with chimmike. CA is way too strick about this stuff. the motor can be jdm. mine was when it was bared. good luck

 

Im not that sure this works with every one but i got a state reff'ed with a jdm b18c i just paid my fine (like 350$)and resmoged it and never took out the motor or anything

 

yup just pay fine... and get it barred!
