Default need help reseting ecu

hey was up.. i was at track today n when i was leavin wires under my dashboard caught on fire now my car doesnt even go on.. im planing to take it back to honda because i have a extended waranty on the car.. but some of my friends told me dat i would have to reset da computer because honda would then know that i was racing the car and would void my waranty.. so how do i reset it? so they wont know that i was racing da car..please i need your helpp guys

as far as i know, i dont think racing your car voids your warranty (i might be wrong thoug). as long as you didnt over-rev your car, i think your fine. if your car is stock, thats probably better.


to reset the ecu, just unhook the (-) terminal off the battery, wait 5-10 min, an reconnect. let your car idle for a couple min.

i think its different cus our cars 'data logs' so im not sure how to reset that..
