just had a quick question about the DCRH? there are two types the ceramic and the stainless steel header. i know the stainless steel version is probably the best but what about the ceramic one. is there any good/advantage to it? my friend had a dc ceramic header on his 98 civic and he said he had some big problems(rust,damage or something). just wanted to know if they have made better on this(with time mostly every thing is made better but just asking)

i couldn't say if ceramic headers have gotten better but i too owned a DC ceramic header at one point and it was garbage

 

i wouldnt buy ceramic headers for dc either. i had a set on my old car and i didnt like the quality/finish.
if anything i would just do ceramic coating myself with techline coating or send it into jet-hot. i've had much better success with doing it these ways along with better results.

 

i have been looking for the stainless steel header from dc but i can't find one. do they even have one for our make of car? if i can't find one i was going to go with the vibrant header. i dont know which to go with (cat or no?) if anyone has some answers or info that i looking for that would be great.

 

Unfortunately, now that DC Sports is owned by APC/Pilot, I wouldn't trust anything they do. I think the Vibrant header is great and it doesn't break the bank too bad. Plus the one with the cat is even environmentally friendly... and in stock (unlike many others).

I wouldn't even consider the DC anymore.... go Vibrant with a cat and run green.
