Hi i Have a 94 del sol.. I put a B16a into with a turbo... And i just recently blew my tranny so i bought one off my friend.. It is a GSR with LSD. It happened that i broke my starter also. So i went to napa and ordered a 1994 gsr starter. Turns out it fits and everything but one of the holes doesnt line up.. I am just wondering if anyone knows anything on this topic..

 

r u sure it doesn't fit.all B series starter fit's.da shop probaly gave u da wrong starter.i remember i have an all motor 13 sec 97 gsr motor and it blew up on me so i bought a b16a motor and used da stuff on da gsr.da starter fit's my b16a.also my boy took a starter off a 99 si to put on his da9 tegg and it fit's perfect.good luck.

 

If you still have the old starter try to compare them (most likely you dont have the old one due to having to turn in a core) i've gotten the wrong starter before from advanced auto parts
