I think the 96-00, because everything from headlight to everything seems to fit alot better, plus it would have to be a company wouldn't downgrade a newer model.

meh- i disagree with that. my 07 si is a piece of **** compared to my old 97 hatch. honda cuts corners in any way possible, and has since the 6th gen. 7th gen was marginal quality, and the 8th gen is really a big *** step down. the engine bay sheet metal in the new cars is like razor blades because its not doubled or rolled. the suppliers for practically everything have it down to a bare minimum spec just to get the job done, from the door detent assembly to the rear struts, etc, etc. the list goes on and on. the paint is junk, which partially isn't hondas fault, but partially is because they have it dialed to the exact drop with just enough paint to get the job done to save money.

i agree, the 7thgen civic's are honestly ugly. The EP3 is somewhat of a decent car but i still wouldn't buy one. The 8th gen's are just not to my likings, they are dope in some whats but overall i'm not happy with it.

To the OP, 96-00 civic's FTW
