Default CRX HATCH GLASS??

hi there i was wondering if there is a site or wut that i can get my rear hatch to be plexi glass or something for lighter weight, i know this has been done and just need more info on how and where and maybe some links to where? THANX

I have never seen a kit or precut plexi for that.
You can always just make a cardboard template and trace it onto piece of lexan. I would use scratch resistant lexan. I have done it before, you will need to add support either accross or top to bottom.

I once emailed Altech about their lexan window on the green crx drag car they have, they did a pretty good job putting in theirs. You just looking for cheap weight savings? You could go cf if you wanted form and function, while using your stock rear glass....

It's well known that the bulk of the weight in the hatch is the glass.
A carbon hatch would be mostly for looks.

Yeah I'd never go the cf route anyways unless i was doing something major like the chassis haha. I would think some of the guys that produce the fiberglass drag front ends would produce some type of rear hatch kit?! I'll keep an eye out for the lexan pre cut sheets....I just check the weather channel and decide by that if I'll drive around without my hatch attached ha
