Is the Crower Stage 3 cam for the D16y8 the same as the one for the D16z6? They have different model numbers, but the same specs... If I get a Crower 3 cam for a z6, can I put it in my y8 head? Will I have less valve clearance than with the y8 cam? I know z6 heads have larger cmbustion chambers...

 

I guess what I really need to know is whether or not z6 cams are compatible with y8 heads, and if I will have less valve clearance with the z6 cam.

Any help?

Search in yahoo using "z6 cam crower in y8 honda tech" or something. I think i seen before where that wont work right trying to switch those and stuff, thats why they have diff #'s.
