In trying to get this heater hose off I noticed I either broke this or it was broken. I'm not sure which and I still haven't gotten the clamp for the heater hose off at the head. Anyway what is it? On the head it has to little prong things sticking out that go into this but it looks like it's broken? How easy is this to replace and whats the part called? These are crappy cell phone pictures I can get more if needed with a regular camera. It goes right under the distributer.

Looks like the ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) Sensor.

I was thinking the front one that was labeled as 15 was the coolant temp sensor I don't know why I thought that. Anyway if I got get a Autometer one will it work in it's place? I'm was thinking of just trying to hook up an autometer guage to it and leave the stock one unhooked. Or does that just replace the sending unit?

 

I ended up just getting one from Napa so I could get this thing back together. Was going to go with one from the dealer but they had to order it.
