Hello HT Member-

I had been debating for sometime now, and I believe I finally made up my mind to sell my 97 Spec. JDM Integra Type-R transmission. The transmission is legit and I do have paperwork. It was purchased from Steve at hmotorsonline on 03/2004. Steve was willing enough to part out this ITR transmission from another swap and put it on my GSR long-block that I was also purchasing at the time. This unit is equipped with Limited Slip Differential (LSD) and is the 4.40 final drive. This transmission was babied and is very clean and shifts beautiful. The unit has approximately 30,000 miles and never was opened up. I used Honda MTF. I'm selling it because I will be doing more highway driving in the future to come so it will no longer be practical. For those that haven’t experience a close gear ratio transmission the acceleration is excellent and is highly recommended for an all-motor application. I also have the original clutch and flywheel from this transmission if you may be interested.

In regards to the sale I would prefer trades; that are local. I live in Southern Pennsylvania. I’m only interested in trading for a hydo GSR transmission that is in excellent condition plus cash on your end. However, I’m open to accept offers out-rite.

i know this isnt what you want, but i have a LS tranny, no grinds, bought from candian company online. has pretty long gears and good for highway. i bought it for 800 (haha madd money, i know i got ripped). but its gauranteed to be excellent

 

Not interested in the LS tranny. I'm looking for a mint GSR tranny. Like I said I will consider a straight sale.

 

have you considered just swaping out 5th gear for highway usage ?

 

I have. However, part of my drive to sell the tranny is a desire to go FI. Would you just recommend using a GSR 5 gear or possibly 4th too?

coming to a close. Come on mint GS-R trannies...ITR is looking for a new home.

 

definitely a cool guy and legit seller, i can vouch

 

damn man if i would of known i would of picked up this GSR tranny instead i got a USDM b16 hydro from a 00 si.....that sucks but i mite be able to get a mint GSR tranny with low miles and a warranty
