Yeah it's not my old one for sure.... the part i find a little crazy is how we didn't know of it, I thought we all kept pretty good tabs on the NC R's

I believe Chris(EEK) was the original owner, so he had it for most of its life. Unless things have changed since the new owner, the only thing it should have wrong is the passenger fender might have a decent sized dent in it. New owner might of gotten that fixed. I know that's a good amount below what EEK sold it for though, so I'd scoop that up.

 

I do have a few pics of 01-0516 from EEK, it does look identical to this one. Plus EEK had 83k miles on it in July 07. This one sits at 85k miles.

my friend sold his black 01 R not too long ago.. jdm front with white 16''... from VA though

He hasn't had it long, hence the new NC plate with the obnoxious red letters (I'm even a State grad). Or, it's not registered and he's driving it around with a plate from a different vehicle.

Good luck on your trip- I was in Charlotte today on a day trip.

Edit:: if it's straight, tell your friend to buy it and bring it to Expo!
