Default Really easy noob question....dizzy related

So my friends 91 (obd0 correct?) Integra needs a dizzy and I was wondering this:

Will a dizzy from a b16a (which is OBD0, part # TD-22U) fit and work properly on a obd0 b18a (non-vtec obviously)?

Thanks!

your better off getting one for the b18a because the b16a will not bolt up.

I think you may be right. My buddy got one for his b18a this weekend..it was obd0, the plugs did match and connect correctly, but the holes for the three outside bolts did not match up. One of of the three was in the correct position, so it is now only held on with the one bolt and I guess its driving perfectly. Is this safe? Haggered as hell, but won't the inner rubber ring around the rotating assembly keep the oil from leaking??

Why doesn't he just swap the guts into the right housing? It is probably just the igniter any way.

not a bad idea. The plugs were pretty old and cracked, so I'm not sure if we can reuse those, but I'm kinda interested to see how this goes.

However, it is confirmed? the obd0 b16 dizzys are different than the b18s?
