Default wiper blades

How come the passenger side wiper blade is so hard to replace? The driver side one is just like any other car that I've owned, but the passenger side on my 92 EH3 is impossible to replace. I finally got it off, it had one of those adapters on it, and I am trying to put on a new 18 inch blade. Do I have to use the adapter that the new blade came with? If so, I still can't get it on with or without the adapter... help please.. it may rain tomorrow lol

I've never had any trouble.

Hondas don't usually use any adapter.

Older Fords use the pin type adapters. Older Toyotas use the saddle adapter (with the two screws). Those kinds of adapters don't usually come with the new wiper blades. Volkswagens use the adapters that come in the package. Mercedes and a few other cars are just unique.

Hondas just slip on the hook like normal.

I have another question though.. Is there a way to replace the rear wiper blade? How do you do it and what size do you have to buy? Also, how to take off the actual arm cause I might want to repaint it.

Rear wiper arms are all different from model to model.

Worse comes to worst, replace just the wiper refill (the rubber part) with the right size (width and length) refill.

Ok.. does anyone know if you can remove it and replace it on the 92 Si instead of getting the refill? If I decide to get the refill should I just measure it to get the size of it?

Mess around with it to see if you can get it off the car. if you have an owner's manual it might say how to change it too.
