Car Wont Turn Over
Car: 99 LS Integra
Last Sunday I pulled my valve cover off to paint it... I reinstalled it....and now the car all of a sudden does not turn over w/ the key.
I went through every fuse and checked the wires on the starter. All the accessories work inside the car....
When I turn the key, I get nothing, not a clicking sound or anything.
I can pop start the car, and it runs fine.
Is it just a coincidence that the starter may have went out at the same time? Or could I have missed something like a wire when I reinstalled my valve cover?
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Not much that you can miss for wires when your putting the valve cover back on. It could be the starter and all you need is someone to tap on the starter while you try to start it up. However, if it was the starter, you should at least hear the starter click when you try to start the car. GL
I did a little more investigating today...
The signal wire to the starter gets power when the key is turned...
When I run a wire from the bottom contact on the starter to the negative terminal on the battery, it starts.
So I'm assuming there is a loose ground some where.
Where does the starter ground to?
On my way home from work tonight, all the lights inside the car went dim. Then the headlights went out.... so there has to be some sort of tie to the alternator....right???

Pull your starter out and go have it tested. I bet your solenoid might've taken a dump. If your lights were going dim, check the battery and the tension on your alternator belt. Have the whole system checked.
