WTT/FS 1999.5 VW Jetta VR6 MKIV
I'm looking to trade my 1999.5 MKIV Volkswagen Jetta VR6 5 Speed manual for a 97-01 manual transmission Prelude. Looking for a car with under 90K preferably.
About my car:
61,500 Miles
Black/Black Velour 5 Speed Manual
Recently purchased at 56k, all servies before 53k were done at the dealer, carfax has them all documented. Since I bought the car I have:
Changed the battery in November
Performed 2 oil/filter changes
Replaced the airfilter with a K&N Filter
Replaced the factory headlight bulbs with Sylvania Silverstar Ultras
Replaced the stock pedals/dead pedal with GLI pedals
Replaced the stock shift **** with an OEM R-Line brushed aluminum trim ****
Installed an enfig ipod connector (CD quality ipod charging and playing through factory stereo)
The car runs excellent. Averages about 22-23 miles (Mixed/half highway, half city) No leaks or engine problems at all, drives smooth. Gas mileage is pretty good. Interior is in pretty good shape. The exterior has a couple of small dents, but the paint is in great shape. The rear bumper, having been parked in LA for some time, has been chipped up and could use replacing. Has minor electrical problems, the passenger door lock mechanism is not currently functional and sometimes the door locks do not work well. The electrical problems can easily be addressed and corrected with just a little solder work and a few hours on a weekend, instructions can be found here:

(Door Lock Module)
Pictures coming soon.
Trade for Prelude or $8000
Located in North Jersey, if anyone wants to take it for a spin, PM me.

PS: Spare will be off tomorrow.

They don't, I kelly blue booked value the car for ***** and giggles. I even gave him the benefit of the doubt and put in "GOOD" condition and value was only $5500-6000, not no 9 stacks.

KBB thinks the 1999 is a MKIII at which case the correct trim option isn't even available. With 90% of the services done by VW I would think this car is in good condition as well. KBB never justifies low mileage. Here is the correct generation 6 months newer than mine. But I'll drop the price a nut just cause I like you. BTW Spare is off.
