Would you perfer a 97 or 01 Type R?
This is a weird question but I am curious if Type R enthusiasts would prefer to own a mint low mileage 97 Type R or a mint low mileage PY 01 Type R? thank you
Just a simple question why the rude comment? KIA's are trash please dont even mention that brand of car in my post again. Thank you
Jon's point is that it is personal preference. Each owner is different. To dig deeper, some are die hard CW, PY, etc while others prefer any color-depending on their mood.

Reason I ask is because I am between 2 Type R's right now. I prefer CW but like PY also. I like the 98-01 front end, tails and rear end better. I am not a fan of the carbon fiber trim in the 00-01's R's but can live with it. I am just trying to get some opinions to help make my decision easier. Thanks

I had a 98 before and it was perfect. I regreat selling it to this day, the 2 that I am looking at are a 97 and 01 so I need to chose between these 2.

personally I would go with the latest model itr given that the history of the vehicles maintenance has been kept up to date.
-prefer the updated look on 01' vs 97'
-slightly more aggressive intake cam on 01' vs 97'
-as for the cf you can trade me for non cf
The only reason I would ever consider a 97' is for collector purposes.
