Well AEM Cam Gears have like 4 bolts to hold the thing on, not thoroughly reliable I'd say, but check on Unorthodox or like mentioned skunk.

ive always liked the kamikaze header, they are the only people that
i know of that make a 4-1 unit for f22's.
if you could get those i would be very interested.

I've got an AEM. Seemed to do just fine to 253hp/264lbft. I'd say they know what they are doing.

I could use a Cam gear but does it really make a difference when tuning a SOHC F22B VTEC?

At etown last weekend for the IDRC summer slam Papadakis had the front end off his civic and there were 3 bolt AEM cam gears on his H22a. I think it makes about 800hp. The only time AEM gears slip is because they werent tightened down properly.

yah i like the skunk2's thats what i got for h22

but i think papadukis.. is sponsored by AEM and i would bet that they
tune his car like every other day.. so i dont think he would have any
problem..but i can do either AEM or Skunk2 cam gears.. and right now i think
the only header i can pull off at a decent price.. would be the DC sport.. let me look into some others..
Here are the gears AEM has three and Skunk2 has six

depending on the number of ppl here are some prices
90-02 4 cyl
Skunk2 Cam Gear- 110 shipped

90-97
AEM True Cam Gear- 135

90-99 4 cyl
Venom Cam Gear- 140 shipped

PPL with H23 or H22's would need different and Two Gears
H22 92-98- 135 each
h22 92-02 Skunk2- 190

**** years listed are how they are my book list ****

Either way, I'd rather have 6 instead of 3 if they offer the same benefits.

i agree thats why i went with the skunk2 on my h22 engine.. i feel
better to have more options then not.. some people think AEM has
built its name up and is known for good products.... i agree... yet i
would still rather have six..
