fortunately for me, i already have enough crew support. but i suggest that you look up who the top drivers are in your region (driving a honda is not necessary, but a plus i guess), find out their info (be creative, find out their sponsers, or just plain ol call the club office) and call em cold. just say hey, im interested in racing in the future, i dont have much experience, but id like to help out for any test day or race. theres no reason they would turn you down, and at worse, they do, no big deal. the rewards for doing this are endless. i would be totally lost without my mentor. he has taken time from working on his own customers (he owns his own honda shop) to work on my car, told me his setups, advice galor, and introducing me to other ppl in the paddock who have helped me out as well. this is my number one advice for anyone interested in racing, and im glad to see your initiative.
