Hawk HPS Brake Pad Life??
This is a stupid question. No two people brake the same thus there is no average.
I had my 'teg for 11yrs on honda pads. I only replaced them once. I do downshifting and anticipation of traffic patterns.
Who knows how longs yours will go for but if you didn't think it was long enough either change your driving style or try a different set.

They seem to last forever. I've had a set of HPS front pads since 2002 or 2003 and I'm still have 3 to 4mm before i hit the indicators.
I've auto-x'd probably 30 to 40 times since I had them, did two track events, went to the drag strip 30 or so times, and I daily drive on them 20 miles to and from work every day.
If you want a pad to bites, try a set of the Cobalt Friction GT-Sport pads. Those [freak]ers are bad ***.
I just put a set of HPS pads on the rear late last year, so I'll probably have them until the next decade.
