Default tri-y de-cat/test pipe legnth?

anyone out there either with an ef or eg that can tell me how long the test pipe needs to be to mount up to their exhaust center section?

just ordered a tdm tri-y and test pipe and i need to figure out how long/short it needs to be?
pics and measurements are great btw :D

if it were mild steel it would not be a problem as i can weld it, i cant weld stainless and the only place that can is 30 miles away lol! (also they quoted near $150 us to do it!)

dyno to follow, hopefully this will open up my measely 151whp on my b20-vtec....200 here we come (well when the ctr cams get here anyway lol!)

on my 95 dc2 the test pipe i made is 5 1/2 inches.
and thats without modification to the header or b-pipe.
not sure if that helps though.
