WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT RSX TYPE S!!!!!!!!
I currently have a 96 integra ls and want to buy a 05-06 rsx type s, but just want to know what kind of gas mileages you get and do you have to put premium in it only? Also, do they get stolen alot? I was planning on going with that or s2000 but that is only a 2 seater and sometimes i would like to have some ppl with me or else i would have just gone with s2k, also does the s2k get stolen often?
S2000 gets stolen more than RSX-S but it's the owner's stupid behavior that causes people to lose their car (leave car parked on road, post your location, mods to car, security, etc).
The statistic doesn't make your car get stolen; car owners' negligence makes the statistic.

Well the 05-06 will be faster then a Ls Integra. And yes it does have to to use premium if you want the computer to run the the right timing, and not dial the advance back to not knock. If you keep your foot out of it they get pretty good gas mileage...

For an RSX? I honestly think there is no need for one.

It's so rare for it to happen, well where I live. You can park it anywhere and I'll assure you nothing will happen to it.
If it were an s2000, then absolutely. I heard their seats are getting stolen like hot cakes.

Yeah I live in a city with super low car theft, plus my rsx stays in a garage with a car behind it. And the garage is locked most of the time.

man, you guys are pretty scared about getting your car stolen. I probably wouldn't care much if someone were to steal mine. Bone stock + full coverage. I would probably only be mad because I wouldn't be able to get where I needed to for the next for hours as I would be carless.
Btw, how are you guys able to get 35 mpg? The car is rated like 21/30. I have hit like 30 mpg going 100% highway @ 80 mph, but it instantly drops as soon as I start driving in the city.

Getting your car stolen and filing a claim is always a bad thing. The insurance companies don't give you what it's worth. I bought a 02 Accord for $12k 3 years back, totalled it in 2 months, and got $8000. Didn't even pay off my loan...

You live in Cali and you're saying it's rare for a Honda to get stolen...They get jacked all the time in Jerzzzz....Thieves will go to meets and follow the nice cars home...and jack them or stuff from them a couple days later...that's how it is.

I'm not saying that, I'm just simply stating that RSX's in particular are rarely to be stolen.
People wouldn't have to be concerned about getting an alarm for their first modification. But then again, there's nothing wrong being on the safe side and purchasing one. If it's a '00 and older Honda, then I understand.

I'm well-aware of that. Personally, I wouldn't go to any meets around where I live. Only meets that are well-known to the general public and have been established before. No way in hell you'll ever see me in one of those pointless, ricer meets.

Better all around.... Hell No. Better suspension geometery, yes. Performance in a straight line stock for stock the type s is just as fast as every GSR I have ever driven.

yeah but my point is that he already has a DC2. Why trade it in for payments when he can use the money to fix up the integra and have just as much fun..

The main negative thing about the macpherson strut design on the RSX is that it has a terrible camber curve, which mean that you must run a fair deal of static negative camber.
