i have the nrg short hub and 2.0 quick release. It works good i dont have power steering and its easier to turn from a stop. its a good investment get it. if you have anymore ?'s let me know.

if you looking at getting it, http://www.racinglab.com/steer....html
i think has the best prices if that not where you were looking.

reason I ask is because I found this on weaksauce, Nrg short hub for a 88-91 ef

*Buy at your own risk
-We asked the NRG innovations technician regarding this short hub for the 88-91 Civics and they said it would fit with modifications. Here are the modifications needed:

1. Horn might not work
2. This piece will rub against the steering collumn. You must file/dremmel the plastic around the turn signal cancellation piece.
3. None of the accessories will work (cruise control)
4. The turn signal cancellation might not work. (Need to manually flick turn signal off)

yeah you do have to modify the horn to work this will show how

http://www.getnrg.com/support/...ID=14
its not for an ef but i did this to my crx

and yeah you have to file the clicker down if you really really want to keep it but i just took it out its not that big of a deal for me but if you really want to keep it then your just gonna have to take the time to file it down until you have enough room for the hub to slide all the way down. and for the cruise control i didn't have it i dont think any ef's have cruise control but i could be wrong

wow sounds like a lot of drama..... so if you go with the short hub is it better to go with the 2.5 quick release or the thin quick release kit ?

i think the 2.5 just has the butterfly quick release. that is all that is different. i would just stick to the 2.0. i also had the problem of turn signal clicker so i just took it out. as for the horn it should work fine since it has the metal contact strip unlike anything with an air bag which dont have that contact point. and as far as cruise control goes it only came on the lx and ex sedans i believe. not a lot of drama just gotta get it and do it. for this product.

if you run the short hub and thin version quick release I heard it won't work since it will be too low and too close to the turn signal flickers.
