Ok i know alot of guys have problems with their manifolds against their dip stick. I know str used to make them for the b series and d's any idea who makes them now? I looked on Bdl's site and didn't see anything. Any other ideas?

use a civic VX dipstick. it has a built in heat shield.

 

I know Golden Eagle used to make metal B series dipsticks for this type of application. That would be something to look at. I strongly considered getting one when i ran a SPoolin Log on my GSR. The dipstick was really close to the manifold and got ridiculously hot all the time.
