is 2000 honda civic si exhaust system noticable better than stock 1999 honda civic ex ?
hey guys i was just wondering if the 2000 honda civic si stock exhaust system yields more HP than the stock 1999 honda civic ex system? if so about how much different?
I'm not sure on the size of the piping, but i would think the piping off the 99 si would be bigger.. due to it being b-series and the 99 ex being d-series.
slightly bigger piping = better airflox = gains.. not much, but probally enough to notice.

I have an Si muffler on my EX. I'm not 100% sure of the piping size because my b-pipe was also replaced with a stainless steel version by a muffler shop.
Guess how much of a difference I felt upon the install?
None.
Well, not unless you mean gobs more power because there was no longer a clean cut directly behind the resonator. My stock EX b-pipe and muffler rusted out in two spots. I wanted a stock replacement, so this is what I happened to find.
Don't expect any performance differences between an intact EX and intact Si exhaust system though.
