Rusty CARS = YUCK what to do about it?

Rusty CARS = YUCK what to do about it?
So my dad bought a new 07Civic (lx) but still is a very nice car IMO.
I was **** about it and convinced them to get a winter beater and store the new civic.
My wish came true and the civic is in very good condition.
I Am currently rolling in a 95 accord 5 speed but i want to get a CRX, EG, Ej or EK
I know These cars are hard to find without the rust - the EK.
But whats the best way to keep it rust free?
store it every winter?
what if that is not an option. I know if i get one of the cars i wont be able to afford anything else. I hate Winter!!!!
