I have a h2b setup in my car right now and im putting in a s300 to take place of my chipped ecu. Im having king motorsports tune my car which is fairly expensive. If i change out my b16 trans for a ITR tranny this next winter will it mess up the tune at all? I would hate to have to re tune after paying $450 for a tune.

 

No, and if it does, it will be MINIMALLY.

S300 has gear correction, as well. Simply select the transmission you're using.

ok i know this is an old thread but i ran at the track yesterday and my car missing hard at top end and the only thing i changed was from a gsr tranny to a type r both with 4.4 fd... im running gt42 with boost by gear and i never changed my gear comp?? someone please chime in.. is this the reason it was cutting out?

 

the transmission change will not drastically affect the tune. You probably have other issues, ie: tune isn't quite right, misfire, etc...
