Does anyone have any problems keeping their cupholders closed? The damn thing won't close on my 92 Si but the correct pieces are still there, meaning nothing is broken off. I can press and depress the thing thats supposed to lock it in but it just won't grab it. What can I do? Its hard to velcro that area but I just tried and it wasn't successful. I just want that thing closed because I don't really use the cup holders.

 

Just ditch them and spend the money and buy the jdm middle console and that looks a hell of a lot better anyways

 

Any other suggestions besides buying a JDM middle console? I like the console but I want my cup holder to close.

no way around it get the optional center console (it isn't just JDM) and if you really want cup holders install one out of a taurus in the din slot your radio is in now

 

kind of a late response, but i actually had this problem with mine as well, i just took a pair of pliers and a lighter, i slowly heated the tab that locks on and slightly bent it closer so itll lock in place. hope this helps if u havent fixed it already
