drop right in. You wouldn't have to add the valve train unless you plan on frequently taking it to the red daily driven you will be fine with just the cams dont necessarily need cam gears either. trying to tune them wont yeild much if any gains.
Where can you not find them these days

Yes, but i wouldn't do it unless your were gonna put TYPE-R valvetrain, lma's, valves and cams..

Also i'd consider switching intake manifolds if your still running the stock GSR intake manifold.

You can find type r cams @ hondamarketplace.com

Notice i said I.

Me personally i would do it to be on the safe side.. I have a bad tendency to rev engines a little higher than they're suppossed to go sometimes.

And if i was going to put type r cams in my gsr.. i would want the valve train as well to at least be a little bit on the safe side..

That would be unnecessary unless you plan to rev past 8200 it would just be a waste of money. if upgraded valve train is optional with Skunk 2 stg 1's which are more aggressive than itr cams then there is no need to spend the money on itr valve train you will be fine with just the cams don't waste your money. Guy I work with's brother has a 95 del sol with a b16 over 215k miles and is running ctr cams with no upgrades put them in around 160k has had NO problems whatsoever
DONT buy the valve train it will be a waste of money

As long as you stick with your stock red line it will be fine. However, for extra insurance it is always good to up grade valve train when changing to a different cam. I ran skunk stage 1's (just like itr cams) for many years with no problems.

If anything just add intake inner springs to the exhaust outer springs. That would yield Type R valve springs!

move the gsr intake springs to the exhaust side and buy itr intake springs.

Sort of off topic, but how do you recognize ITR Cams? What markings or engravings will it have?
