Default Another HF question?

I had a post earlier about an HF tranny and yes I did do a search before I posted it.
My question is how can I tell an HF tranny from a normal 5 speed tranny?

I remember something about putting the tranny into gear and spinning the axles or something like that and counting the revolutions of the input shaft.

At the top of the CRX/Civic page there is a FAQ. Within that page there is a link.

I guess it takes so much more effort to give you the answer on this thread than to link you to another or give you an all together useless post.

Anyway this is the only way to tell since most transmission won't tell you by serial number or anything else that it's a HF.

If you give a guy an answer to a FAQ he and others like him will pollute this site with frequently asked questions expecting us to help them.

If you teach them how to use the FAQ they'll be able to solve their own problems.
