ok so ive been thinking about redoing my brake lins to make my bay look alot cleaner.. i brought this idea up to my buddy and he stated "the bends in the brake lines are there to make the proper pressure" i can see that being true.. but i just want to make sure that redoing my brake lines wont hurt the brakes causing them to fail doing 50 and me ending up in some old ladys a$$

thanks ill go check them out.. but in the mean time.. the question im askin is.. does the bends in the brake lines effect the pressure in the brake lines?

No (unless you kink the line or something). Theres no pressure in the lines until you apply the brakes. The brakes work off of hydraulic pressure so it wouldn't matter if your lines are longer or shorter since you can't compress the brakefluid, you will still displace the same amount fluid at the calipers/ wheel cylinders.

 

thank you.. exactly what i was hoping on.. i told my friend that and he said NO! the bends in the lines effect the pressure.. why do you think they have coils under the cyl had a argument over it.. lol
