Default Swap 07 Civic SI dash to 95 Integra?

I'm doing a k20z3 swap to my 95 LS. Has anyone ever done it before? How much costumizing would it need? I have both dash boards, both dash harnesses, and both engine harnesses. I don't have any alarm remotes or codes, will I run into problems there? The dash is from an 07 Civic SI 2 door. Any help or insight would be great, thanks in advance!

sounds like a project...why not use an earlier K20 instead of the Z3?

It would be less of a pain.

werd.

Use a K20A2 from an RSX-S. They have way more tuning capabilities

long story short im getting the wrecked car for nothing, thats the only reason i decided to use the k20z3. I really want to blend as much of the 2 cars together as possible to make something sorta stock but completely clean and unique combining old and new. I dont like the fast and the furious/tuner look anymore and have done enough cars like that. This is my project car that I'd like to be a show car. I have all the time to work on it as it's not my daily driver.

You realize that dash is going to come out past like halfway on the front doors right? lol

It's like a 4 foot dash vs a 1 ft dash. (exaggerated) but good luck.

also would it be easier to do the engine swap to a 96? I have a 95 and 96 both LS. I think the 95 is OBD1, and the 96 may be OBD2?? My 96 and 97 civics were both OBD2. I just started with Integras and K-Series so I'm still absorbing info. Do they make jumper harnesses for the integra to K series? When i did my civic si swap i used a harness from ebay or rywire.com or whatever and converted from obd2 to obd1. or is there any good threads on here that specifically address these issues someone can point me in the right direction, i dont want to be an a$$hole and ask for info thats been discussed numerous times before....

there are harnesses made to allow a clean K swap into DC2, EJ8, etc...

go to K20.org and all your questios will be answered.

I never really looked into it but you should be able to run the Z3 alot easier by swapping the TB for an RSX TB and run the RSX harness and use KPRO. that would break you away from the drive-by-wire and MAF.

this is just an assumption.....anyone care to discuss?

I never saw the dash in the civette, i guess its silly to think it would fit clean with out mods. But I also have a spare Integra dash and i was thinking about using the front face of the dash from the 07 SI, cut as much out as possible so it will deop in further, and mold it to the back half of the Integra dash and resurface the whole dash in fiberglass and paint it.

I never did any k-series swaps ever, ive done d and b-series. K's are still so new and mysterious to me lol. I was thinking would I literally pull the whole electical system from the 07 SI and and convert it all over with the engine swap into my integra. I want to do it like that 1 so the dash and all the guages, etc work perfectly, and 2 it'll be running like a stock 07 SI, I shouldn't have to do any tuning... Or am I being way to hopeful? I heard KPRO and such can be pretty expensive..

And what is the market value of a swap k20 into a clean integra? I heard someone say between 7-10K. I'm afraid as soon as I finish it the cars gonna get stoloen lol.

Thanks again

haha no way am i going to do that. if it ends up like that ill end up just putting the intgra dash back in, im going to have to do alot of cutting and molding for this to look 100%. But I really think its going to make it worth it if I commit myself....
