How long did Competition Clutch last you??
As titled, how long did C.C. clutch lasted you? I am looking for a clutch that can handle 280whp - 300whp so around 240-250tq. I am looking at the Stage 4 sprung and the stage 5 sprung. I am planning to Daily Drive and a little bit of track. So for the users, how long did this last you? TIA
i have the stage 4(sprung) daily at 400whp, still havent launched the car yet but its been holing for a while now and i beat on the car pretty much everday i drive it. In all honesty i would suggest staying away from a lightend flywheel if you plan to DD with this clutch.

Can i ask why you say that?? I have a new Comp Stage 4 and was planning to use it on my ACT 11lb fly, but if there's a good reason not to, i'll just sell the lighter fly and use the stock one...

Honestly i say this and so does the only person that i ever let drive my car. when its cold out it takes for ever to stop chattering, you have to rev the **** out if it sometimes or it chatters terribly(like 2K) . I no that the clutch is part of it but the flywheel is for sure contributing. If you lived by me i would have no problem letting you test it out in my car just to show you... but thats not an option.

I put the comp stage 4 sprung in and i love it, just a little harder than stock feel. smooth engagment and great grip when shifting. I very happy i made the right choice.

Same here, it came quick.

i have a stage 4 sprung with act 11lb in my d16, I honestly like the free reving nature the flywheel gives to the car but the clutch does chatter a tad. I used to run a act xtss but the pedal was too heavy. The competition has a little more pressure than stock but not at the level of the ACT

Go for the Ironman clutch if you have the coin man. It's nice, has a decent engagement and you can beat the shizzle out of it. As far as how long it lasts. That my friend is all up to you. It's really dependent upon how you drive the car. Some materials tend to hold up longer than others, yes this is true....however, the reality is that if you beat the hell out of your car every day and slip the clutch all the time, you will have degradaded disc life.
